Emotional Eating - September 13 - October 21
These groups are designed to help group members deepen their understanding of how emotional eating is controlling/directing their lives, learn coping strategies and increase their emotional regulation. We will utilize group discussion, mindfulness techniques, journaling and array of creative art projects.
The experience will help participants to:
Gain insight in their need to emotionally eat
Utilize behavior modification techniques to become more aware of their thoughts, emotions and behaviors
Learn more about their relationship with food
Begin to challenge their existing thoughts and behavior patterns
